My name is Gerrad Golden, and I am proud to be a candidate for McDonald County Sheriff.
I was raised right here in McDonald County, and I am honored to call this community home. The values I learned growing up here—hard work, integrity, and looking out for your neighbors—have guided me throughout my life and career.
I began my law enforcement career eight years ago with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, where I have had the opportunity to serve and protect the public while gaining valuable experience in law enforcement. Those years have strengthened my commitment to public service and prepared me to lead with professionalism, accountability, and respect.
My wife, Jenna Golden, was also raised in McDonald County, and together we are proud parents of four children. We have two adult children who have begun building lives of their own, and two children we are still raising. Like so many families in our community, we want our children to grow up in a safe county where people look out for one another and where law enforcement works hand-in-hand with the community it serves.
I am running for Sheriff because I believe McDonald County deserves strong leadership, open communication, and a Sheriff's Office that is dedicated to serving every citizen with fairness and integrity. I am committed to supporting our deputies, building trust with our community, and ensuring public safety remains the top priority.
McDonald County has given so much to my family and me. As your Sheriff, I will work every day to serve this county with honor, dedication, and transparency.
